Mankiw's Ten Principles of Economics, Translated & Subtitled
AAAS(American Association for the Advancement of Science)といえば「Science」の発行元にして、アメリカ最大の理系支持団体。
今年サンフランシスコで開催された、AAASの巨大な2007年年次総会の一角で行われたのが、Special Event: Annals of Improbable Research。Annals of Improbable Researchといえば、Ig Nobel Prizesの主催者です。AAASも粋ですね。行けば良かった。

上記の動画はそのSpecial Eventの演題の一つ。演者はUniversity of Washington講師にして「世界初、世界に一人のお笑い経済学者」Yoram Bauman, Ph.D（公式サイト）。タイトルは「Mankiw's Ten Principles of Economics, Translated」です（初出はこちら）。
Greg Mankiwはハーバード大学教授で、その著書は経済学部の教科書としてとても有名です。
元の動画をYoram Bauman自身がYouTubeにアップロードしているのもいかしてますが、それに日本語字幕が付いちゃうんですから、Web2.0最高です。ちなみにMankiw教授も公認とのこと。
