Entrepreneurship Week at Stanford

EntrepreneurshipWeek USAにあわせてStanfordでも様々なイベントが予定されている。「フラット化する世界」の著者 Thomas Friedmanの講演会 (3/2)や、Guy Kawasakiへのlive interview (3/1)などと、Venture Capital Speed-Datingなどが並んでいるのがStanfordらしい。しかもいずれも無料でほとんどは事前登録すら不要。

このVenture Capital Speed-Dating、Sequoia Capitalを筆頭にずらりと並んだVenture Capitalに自分のアイデアを３分間プレゼンテーションして３分間のフィードバックをもらう、というイベント。

Students, pitch your business idea to Silicon Valley venture capitalists. Apply in advance for opportunities to give three-minute pitches and receive feedback.

まさに、

いわく、entrepreneurにとって最も重要なのは、アイデアを理解してもらい、弁護士、会計士、投資家などをひきつけること。そのためには、プレゼンテーション力、表現力がとても大事、とのこと。
